The original homestead consisted of several buildings including a vertical log cabin and carriage house.

Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall; there is always something wonderful to enjoy just outside your door when you live in a place like this. The surrounding community has an avid group of snowmobilers and atv enthusiasts. The trails throughout Canterfield Ridge are perfect for connecting you to an even larger network of trails that go for miles.
The property has several kilometers of logging road. Additional walking trails meander through the woods popping out at hill top ponds and panoramic views of Blomidon and New Brunswick.
At Canterfield Ridge, everything is Organic. The land has not been sprayed or fertilized in 20 years. It's hard to count how many different species of bird call this place home during the summer. We also have bees aplenty which makes growing stuff a joy in these parts.
September through November is some of the most picturesque. The Property has many mature and young hardwood trees. In late October, head north east down a walking trail until you come to the property's shared green space. Look on to a ridge of 200 yr old Rock Maples ablaze in auburn colour.
Springtime brings the local riding community into our backyard. Watch blood hounds lead a dozen riders in full regalia in a mock fox hunt, there is nothing quite like it.
Beautiful birds of prey are fairly common here. Don't be surprised if an Eagle, Hawk or Owl swoops into view.
When you visit Canterfield Ridge, it's clear you are somewhere special.
